Berkway House

Cottage

Berkway House, Eton in Berkshire

Old style thatched roof cottage, frontage to the River Thames, stunning location, an entrance hallway and private heated swimming pool

This is a stunning thatched cottage on the riverside of the Thames, originally it was an Edwardian built house used by sculptors and artists of the late 19th century and also later a Wharf house which housed cargo from barge boats. This old cottage has a layout that allows each room to integrate with each other, a typical art and craft style kitchen and living rooms give a grand feel to the room.
All the bathrooms have been renovated and redesigned with walk in showers and large bath tubs. Two bathrooms are en-suite rooms to 2 bedrooms, the bedrooms show the design and artist work of many artists and sculptors with a carved coat of arms at the top of the staircase.

The Berkway House has provided many families with a great time for relaxing and enjoying the setting. The atmosphere is comfortable and it offers services like the swimming pool and large garden space for sunbathing and we as the owners have enjoyed the flow of moving from room to room and spending hours in the kitchen. We hope that you will also find this place comfortable and relaxing and that you will find time to take part in the local activities and attractions.
